Hearts battle valiantly
Two sides with honorable intentions
defending truth.
A battle that can never be won.
Truth won't tear down
So the one left
standing over the battered and bruised
is no victor truly.
Truth was the victim of this war.
Love cast off as though
it's a burden unworthy to bear.
